ABOUT US

Bridges for Enterprise (BfE) empowers early-stage social entrepreneurs to scale their ventures and expand their impact. Founded in 2015, we are a non-profit organisation home to a global community of purpose-driven students and professionals that provide pro bono advisory services to social innovators in emerging markets.

We currently operate 6 chapters and have a client portfolio spanning over 45 countries. Through our multi-stage Incubation Programme, we support early-stage businesses with existing revenue and a clear mission to create social impact for their beneficiaries.

The moment it began…

BfE was founded as a club by a group of students at the University of Cambridge, fuelled by a passion for catalysing social change and a vision to empower social entrepreneurs.

2015

We became a Non-Profit

We became incorporated as a Swiss non-profit, launched our mentor network and delivered 15+ engagements.

2017

Taking our impact worldwide

We expanded our global community to Singapore and New York, bringing our chapter count to 3 and collectively delivering 30+ engagements.

2018

Continuous growth

We expanded our network to over 300 professionals and students, set up a global leadership team and collectively completed over 65 engagements across 25+ countries.

2020

Our present and exciting future

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary, grew to 6 chapters across Cambridge, New York, Singapore, Vancouver, New Delhi and Chicago, and completed over 150 engagements across 35+ countries; and we are excited to expand further.
